Sokul was founded by two youthful entrepreneurs who have made it their mission to produce the highest level in quality, design, & craftsmanship while being mindful of environmental and social impacts during manufacturing. Since inception, they have spent close to two years developing & perfecting their collection before release, making sure even the smallest detail was given the highest level of respect.

Their passion for high quality materials, designs and craftsmanship compliments their commitment to

environmental and social responsibility. Sokul’s designer, hand-crafted furniture is produced at their facility in beautiful West Java, Indonesia. They have assembled their own talented team of craftswomen & men who assemble every piece completely by hand, making each piece unique.

They are members of 1% for the Planet, Surfrider Foundation, World Wildlife Federation & have also joined Kiva supporting micro-financing to entrepreneurs in Indonesia so they too can reach their dreams! Sokul also donates a portion of sales from the SOKUTE pet-bed collections to the SPCA, - Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Sokul’s extensive collection consists of 19 individual sets, ranging from large (9) piece low-seating sofa sets to single seat loungers.

At Sokul, we have created our own custom-designed polyfiber weave material. We have spent countless hours designing our ideal size, shape and texture, making it unique and perfectly matched to our designs.

Our polyfiber is non-toxic, 100% recyclable, UV, salt, chlorine, water, and stain resistant, and withstands temperatures from freezing cold to extreme heat.

We currently offer four types of weave patterns all featuring a matte satin finish. Weave patterns include: round (core-2.75mm), standard thin (5mm), standard wide (10mm), and liris asym, a unique diagonal weave (5mm). Color options include: ivory, wash, honey, mocha, graphite, and onyx.

We feel that we have perfected the fine art of weaving. Our standard thin weave has seamless joins, hiding unsightly seams which distract from the essence of design. Vavas THIN’s liris aysm weave maintains a continuous matching 45º angle throughout the set. Midul KURV’s round weave elegantly wraps around curved lines without binding.

Perfection takes time, Midul KUBE’s Arm Chair takes on average 40 artist hours to complete the 100% hand-woven piece.
